Product Description

The WEIERXIN flatbed semi trailer is a general-purpose platform trailer designed for the daily realities of container and break-bulk transport. The chassis is built from a Q345B high-tensile steel I-beam with a 500 mm section height and a 14 / 8 / 16 mm web and flange thickness, jig-welded to keep the frame straight and the deck flat over years of loaded operation. A 12.5 m platform with twist locks accepts one 40ft or two 20ft containers, or any general cargo that can be strapped to the deck.

Every unit can be built for your market. Axle count, suspension type, tyre size, king pin size, deck height and paint colour are all specified at the order stage, and the trailer is shot-blasted before powder coating so the finish holds up in coastal and desert climates. Manufacturing is carried out at our associated plant, Shandong Changrunda Automobile Technology Co., Ltd., in the Liangshan trailer industrial park, Jining, Shandong.

  • Q345B main beam, 500 mm height, upper 14 mm / middle 8 mm / lower 16 mm
  • Twist locks for one 40ft or two 20ft containers
  • Shot blasting and powder coating for a durable finish

Packing & Shipping

Trailers are shipped either by container or by break-bulk / Ro-Ro depending on destination and quantity. We agree the shipping method with you before production so the trailer is built to the loading method — this avoids the common problem of a unit that is too wide or too tall to fit the container you planned to use.

Container loadingTrailers can be knocked down or nested for 40HQ / 40GP loading; loading plan supplied before shipment
Break-bulk / Ro-RoComplete units shipped on deck or by Ro-Ro for larger orders
Surface protectionWax coating and stretch film on painted surfaces
SecuringWheel chocks, steel wire lashing and timber blocking inside the container

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can you build the trailer to my own specification?
Yes — most of our units are custom-built. You can change the axle count and brand, suspension type, tyre size, deck height, king pin size, landing gear, brake system, paint colour and lettering. Send us your required dimension and load weight and our engineers will confirm a workable configuration before you place the order.
What is the lead time?
Standard lead time is about 20 working days after we receive the deposit and confirm the final drawing. For larger orders or heavily customised units it may take a little longer; the exact schedule is stated in the sales contract so you can plan your shipping space accordingly.
What payment terms do you accept?
Our standard terms are 30% T/T deposit with the balance paid against the copy of the bill of lading, or a 100% irrevocable L/C at sight. Terms can be discussed for repeat customers and long-term partners. All payment details are confirmed in the contract.
How is the trailer shipped, and how many fit in a container?
A flatbed semi trailer can normally be loaded into a 40HQ container in a knocked-down or nested form, or shipped as a complete unit by break-bulk or Ro-Ro. The number of units per container depends on the final dimension. We provide a loading plan and loading photographs before the container leaves the factory.
What warranty do you offer?
We offer a 12-month warranty on the trailer structure and main components from the date of shipment, covering manufacturing defects. Wearing parts such as tyres and brake linings are excluded. Warranty claims are handled with replacement parts shipped from China or with a local service solution, whichever is faster for you.
How can I inspect the trailer before shipment?
You are welcome to visit the factory for a pre-shipment inspection. If travel is not possible, we send detailed photographs and a short video of the finished unit, and you can appoint a third-party inspection company such as SGS or Intertek to check the trailer on your behalf. The unit is only released for loading after your confirmation.
